You’ll now need to go into Haven to mark your match as “Completed.” You can do this on the My Dashboard page, under Active Matches
You’ll then be able to give feedback on your experience. You’ll be prompted with several questions, asking whether you enjoyed your experience, whether the Canadian supporter was good with communicating with you, whether they were punctual, etc.
Don’t feel awkward doing this – Canadians need the feedback to know how they can improve in their use of the platform. We’ve seen Canadians who are incredibly collaborative, and some who, for one reason or another, make mistakes. For instance, showing up late for a call, or changing their plans last minute
We want to discourage this as much as possible. Just as refugees can give Canadian supporters feedback, so too can Canadians give feedback to refugees. We hope this results in high quality matches where both the refugee and supporter walk away happy 😊
